CHESTER ZOO SNOW LEOPARD ENCLOSURE
Chester Zoo’s new state-of-the-art snow leopard habitat has been designed to authentically recreate the rocky terrain of the Himalan mountains.
Air cooled caves will take visitors nose-to-nose with the snow leopards while providing shelter and a cool place for the big cats when the weather is warm outside.
Pilkington OptiView Ultra Protect composition was used to create the leopard enclosure glass viewing screens.
Pilkington OptiView Ultra range consists of sputtered off-line coated anti-reflective (AR) products based on a Pilkington Optiwhite low-iron substrate. Different versions of products are available such as monolithic, laminated, toughenable, either coated on one or both sides, including coatings with thermal insulation properties.

We can install your project using our own specialist glass lifting equipment and experienced installers trained by us. We regularly install large glass panels & rooflights for other glass companies, so unless you wish to carry out the installation yourself, we have this covered.
