The vinyl walkway at the original site of the Windmill Lane Studio in Dublin, which is illuminated at night includes U2s first three albums and was unveiled by musician Moya Brennan of Clannad.
WINDMILL LANE STUDIO, DUBLIN
Bespoke aluminium boxes were designed to display 21 of the most famous albums recorded at the Windmill Lane studio.
Our structural glass floor panels were constructed in sections using Armourglass DRIVE® to safely allow members of the public to walk over them.
The glass floors have a discreat anti-slip pattern of squares within the glass, which is only visible when close up.
GEWAN ISLAND, QATAR
More than 170 glass floors make up the stunning Crystal Walkway on Gewan Island, Qatar.
Our structural glass floor panels were constructed using armourglass DISPLAY® to safely allow members of the public to walk over them.
One of the World’s largest crystal manufacturers designed and constructed a large variety of crystal scenes within the display boxes, which are covered by our high specification structural glass.

TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR TIME CAPSULE
The capsule is on view through the glass cover in the West Atrium and part of the stadium tour route.
Time capsules have traditionally been used as a means of communicating with future generations, containing key items from the time in order to provide an insight into the era.
The stadium capsule contains a number of artefacts and documents that will be opened in 50 years’ time.
CITTADELLA, GOZO, MALTA
Drive on glass floors were installed above ancient stone paths around Gozo’s Cittadella, which has been nominated as an UNESCO World Heritage site.
The project was carried out in different phases and inaugurated by Prime Minister, Dr Joseph Muscat.
Our high specification drive on glass is designed for use in commercial pedestrian traffic areas as well as being able to withstand the loading of vehiclular traffic.
LIDL, DUBLIN
Our multi panel glass floors were installed at Lidl, Dublin to allow shoppers to see an 11th Century floor below.
We used our lifting gantries to menouvre the panels into place.
Although they don’t anticipate that any vehicle will be driving through the store, the weight of many shoppers and full shopping trolleys could be quite substantial, therefore requireing our highest specification drive on glass.
The Lidl now features a glass window in the floor allowaing customers to see the preserved domestic structure below.

TEMPLEMORE BATHS RESTORATION
Heron Brothers has secured “Overall Award’ for their stunning restoration of Templemore Baths, Belfast at the 2023 CEF Excellence Awareds.
Templemore Baths was selected by the panel of judges as this year’s outstanding project given the meticulous repair carried out on the building first opened in 1893 as well as the amalgamation with a modern extension.
Belfast City Council provided £12 million towards the project, with £5 million of funding provided by the National Lottert Heritage Fund.
